Above all else guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. pictureIn our world today, we see many of the End time Scripture promises coming true all over the World. Satan uses these Earthquakes, Tsunamis Tornadoes. All of these things were predicted, stated in Scripture, which means Jesus Christ will be returning soon. So much turmoil and distress that appears as if we have lost the fight of experiencing true love, peace and joy. If you are experiencing unusual circumstances, from your marriage, job, children, ministry, family, health or your own personal struggles, just know you have the victory! When Jesus died on the cross for all humanity victory was won. I charge you to run to God with your problems, because the victory has already been won with him. You must believe and know that everything you are going through is conditioning you to be stronger. Now is not the time to complain, this is the time to pray and read the word of God. This is the time to strengthen our brothers and sisters in the community and abroad. This is the time to show love.
James 1:2-4 Testing of Your Faith, 2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. This is the victory that we share in the midst of what is surrounding us. We have victory in Jesus. When we are in the midst of unlikely situations, you should guard your heart. Joseph was a governor in his time, but it did not come without a price. Joseph had the victory because he maintained his integrity, character, speech and actions throughout all he went through. Joseph helped people the most when he was going through the most. Joseph and Jesus had a lot in common they showed love. Show love through your words and actions.

Proverbs 4:23-27 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; remove your foot from evil. How does God intend for us to live? The book of Proverbs beautifully takes practical matters, interweaves the spiritual, and makes life the beautiful thing God wants it to be. When a person knows God and is right with God, they will find they live a perfectly natural, intensely practical, and deeply spiritual life all at the same time. That’s what God intends.

In the Old Testament you will find that the word heart is used more than 800 times, of these more than 200 times deals with your thought life, the emotions, the wellsprings of life. The Bible calls that the heart, I’m calling it the thought life. Most of these things motivate us, and mold and shape our lives. Why is our thought life so important? Why did Solomon tell his son, keep your heart safe using all diligence; for out of it come the issues of life. Because the thought life controls the rest of your life. Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Eat and drink he says to you, but his heart is not with you. What you think most is how you are, your thought life controls you. Your thoughts positive, or negative, good, or bad control your attitudes.

Before you can do anything you have to think it. Your thoughts lead to your actions, which lead to your achievements. All of it begins with the thoughts. Genesis 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. God destroyed an entire civilization because they had heart trouble. We are still having the same problem today that they had before He had Noah begin building the Ark, we would end up with a tentative range of about 55 to 75 years for Noah to build the Ark.

We see what the word of God says a newborn Child of God should do, in Romans 12:2 and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. When God gets ready to change someone, He does it by changing how they think. God changes their thought process. Solomon told his Son guard and protect your heart, be careful of your thought life,  keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. The Lord Jesus Christ wants us to present our bodies to Him, including our minds, that He might transform us. No wonder the devil battles for the mind. How important that we learn to keep our hearts, because a fierce battle is raging for the control of your mind.

When God is in the heart, then we think right, live right, do right. When God is absent, we think wrong, do wrong, live wrong. Be careful what comes into your mind, we must think pure thoughts. Now, a text without a context is a pretext, so context is important. Let me tell you something wonderful. God made you where you can’t think two things at one time. So for us to keep from thinking wrong  thoughts, we should think pure Godly  righteous  thoughts. Psalm 119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not
sin against you. How are you going to think pure thoughts, by thinking positive thoughts, by not thinking about anything, but the mighty Word of God.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. When we get the Word of God in our heart it has the power to cleanse our minds. From our thought life and through your thought life God wants to minister to you. A God controlled thought life will guard your speech, guard your sight, guard your steps.

When your mind is clear and right with God, you think the thoughts of Jesus Christ, when you have the mind of Christ, you are being transformed by the word of God and the power of God. The helper, Jesus Christ promised us, which is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, is helping us live Godly lives.
